Spring Repair:
Did you know that we can replace the springs on your existing clips?
Just send in the old clips and we can put on new rollers/springs. Make sure you include an old brush
or part number. The brush size, style, and RPM determine the spring force.
Spring Pressure (PSI) = Measured Force (LBS)
Brush Thickness X Brush Width
Recommended Range of Spring Pressures
Having the proper spring pressure is as important as the grade of brush. See below for a chart showing the proper spring pressure for the different types of applications.

Many OEM springs just need a slight improvement. The majority of springs come from the factory already undersized (LBS) for the size of the brush. We try to enhance the design in order to achieve the best brush life possible. Spring pressure is so important that it can have a dramatic affect on brush life.
