Position Overview
Full-time, exempt position responsible for maintenance and evolution of IT supported business systems and user needs.
Essential Duties (other duties may be assigned)
- Integrate new applications into the ERP system and internally developed applications.
- Research, recommend and develop new applications to support and improve business processes.
- Create reports to provide timely information for business decision making.
- Support and maintain the ERP system through refinement of business processes, data analysis, and daily support of end users.
- Administer and maintain various Oracle, SQL Server and Access and databases.
- Analyze and document workflow, processes and interfaces with other systems.
- Support various technical systems including phone, voice mail etc.
Qualifications
- Four year degree in an IT field
- At least three years of experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Previous ERP software experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with VB.NET, MS IIS, 4GL source code, C++
- Experience with database querying tools (Oracle and/or SQL Server).
- Skills in business process analysis and creative, lean thinking.
- Exposure to typical “help desk” issues with MS OS and Office products.
- Basic HTML coding skills
